LOAN EXTENSIONS
Bournemouth duo Matt Butcher and Ben Whitfield lengthened their stay at Huish Park until the end of the season.
Butcher has made 28 appearances for Town scoring once, while Whitfield has featured on one less occasion but has netted twice.
TERMINATIONS
Kyle Copp’s time with the Glovers came to end on New Year’s Day.
The midfielder signed on non-contract terms last April but left the club for Merthyr Town by mutual consent.
Striker Tahvon Campbell has returned to parent club West Bromwich Albion after the expiry of his loan.
The 20-year-old scored twice in two spells at Yeovil, and made a deadline day loan move to Notts County.
DOUBLE SWOOP
On January 13th, Town completed the signing of Brandon Goodship and Tom James on deals for the remainder of the campaign.
Former Town loanee Goodship has made two outings from the bench since returning, while Welshman James is yet to feature.
EARLY EXITS
Andre Wright and Jack Storer both had their loan spells cut short.
West Brom cancelled Wright’s transfer because of EFL regulations. The youngster had already played for the Baggies’ Under-23 side in the Checkatrade Trophy and Coventry City in League One, with rules stating a player can’t play for three sides in one season.
Birmingham City’s Storer saw his stint terminated by mutual consent due to personal reasons. He made just one appearance for the club.
EARN YOUR SPURS
Shayon Harrison arrived in Somerset on January 20th for his first loan spell away from Tottenham Hotspur.
The youngster penned a temporary deal until the end of the season, and follows in the footsteps former Spurs loanees Ryan Mason, Steven Caulker, Jonathan Obika et al.
DEADLINE DAY
Darren Way said: “The day was crazy! The phone didn’t stop ringing and I didn’t stop ringing everyone else to try and get players in.”
The Town boss managed to get two deadline day deals over the line before Tuesday’s win over Plymouth Argyle.
Kabongo Tshimanga (MK Dons) was the first to be confirmed before Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro (Barnet) signed on the dotted line later on.
Both will remain at Huish Park for rest of the 2016/17 season.
SWAN IN, SWAN OUT
Yeovil were busy right up until Tuesday’s 11pm deadline and were involved in two deals in the last hour.
Wide man Ryan Hedges saw his loan terminated by Swansea City ahead of a permanent move to Championship side Barnsley.
The Wales Under-21 international scored five goals in 28 appearances for Town.
Owain Jones swanned in shortly after Hedges’ departure from the Glovers was confirmed.
The Swansea-born youngster can play as a striker or winger.
