Yeovil Town can confirm the departure of Alfie Lloyd to Queens Park Rangers for an undisclosed fee plus add ons.
The forward is a product of the Yeovil Town academy, and has caught the eye this season with his consistent goalscoring exploits for Town’s U18’s.
In November, Lloyd made his first team debut, coming off the bench against Hartlepool United.
Following a successful trial, the forward now moves to West London to join up with Mark Warburton’s side.
Speaking following his transfer, Lloyd said: “I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Yeovil, especially the last year working with Darren Sarll & Terry Skiverton.
“It was a great opportunity to work with someone like Darren who has a great reputation for developing young players and I was able to experience that first-hand, Terry had valuable advice and experience of what it was like to play at the highest level.
“I would also like to thank Mark Challen for his great work with me and the rest of the youth team for the last two years.”
All at Yeovil Town would like to wish Alfie all the best for the future.
