Yeovil Town Football Club has today announced that it has parted company with its manager Paul Sturrock.
Sturrock joined the Glovers on April 9th this year but the result at the weekend against Northampton Town was Yeovil’s twelfth Sky Bet League Two fixture without a victory and leaves The Glovers bottom of the football league.
Club Chairman John Fry said: “We are very sad that the board had to reach this decision today and we thank Paul for his hard work during his time at Huish Park.
“We wish him well for the future, however we all felt that in the light of recent results we had no alternative. We will now begin our search for a new manager.”
Darren Way will take charge as interim manager with immediate effect with Terry Skiverton assisting him.
No further comment will be made by the club at this time.
