Starting from this weekend’s game with Accrington Stanley, an additional drinks only unit is being positioned by the corner of the Screwfix & Radio Cabs stands, close to Tea Bar 5.

The club hopes to see queues at Tea Bar 5 reduced significantly as a result. The trial will run for at least three games and might see the pop unit move to different locations. 

This development is a direct result of feedback from fans and the work of a new Catering and Hospitality group which is made up of senior club staff plus Rich Rendell, the Chairman of the Supporters Alliance.

David Mills, Supporter Director, said: “We aim to run this trial for the first few games of the season and if successful we may adopt it long term.

“We hope supporters will welcome the idea as it is in response to fans feedback.”
