Charlie Bateson has today joined Tiverton Town on a dual-registration loan deal.

The young forward has enjoyed a prolific season for Matt Percival’s Under-18’s side and was rewarded with an appearance in the Somerset Cup against Paulton Rovers this week.

So far this season, he has struck 11 goals in the South West Counties Youth League and recently opened the scoring against Boreham Wood in the U19’s National League Cup.

Now taking his first steps into senior football, Charlie joins Tiverton in the Southern Premier Division and goes into the squad for their game against Chesham tomorrow.
