The ex-Barnsley and Bury boss took over at the County Ground and has kept the Robins in the play-off positions for the most part of the Sky Bet League Two campaign so far.
On the road, the Wiltshire club, who have recently changed to a 4-3-3 formation, have dropped only six points in eight matches under Flitcroft’s stewardship.
Town’s record at home has been just as impressive and Way is looking forward to keeping the Glovers’ fine form at Huish Park going in front of a vociferous crowd.
“It’s been a good season for them so far,” he told iFollow Glovers.
“They have a new group and new manager. The style of football has changed from what they played under Luke Williams to what they play now.
“It’s very direct, they’ve got runners and so far it’s been effective. We’ll be ready for that and we’ll use our strengths to keep performing like we have been at home.
“It’s about what we do. We’ve created a good environment and the supporters have been very, very good.
“We look forward to the game because no doubt they’ll bring a big army of travelling support, and it will be a good game.
“We’ve lost one game in 10 at home which is a massive achievement considering the teams we’ve played and we just have to keep that going.”
