The Sky Bet League Two table sees the green and whites sit just two places above the bottom two after suffering four consecutive defeats.

Dismissing Darren Way last Sunday, Marmon – who’s been at the club since January – has taken charge through until the end of the season.

Pinpointing nervousness as the reason behind recent disappointing performances, Town’s boss is looking for a relaxed display at Huish Park.

“Whatever sport you play, if you’re not relaxed to a certain extent you can’t play any sport and that’s what I’m trying to do – that they try to relax more and not be so tense,” he told iFollow Glovers.

“When they run out onto the pitch to warm-up and they feel there’s a positive atmosphere they won’t have anything bad in their heads.

“If we can get a goal early, we’ve shown throughout the season that when Yeovil Town go up they never lose so that’s obviously got to be the focus that we get a goal as soon as possible to calm the nerves a bit.”

Ready to select his first starting eleven, Marmon has had his first week on the training ground with the squad.

Looking to emulate the 6-0 win in the reverse fixture back September, the Interim Manager feels the players are more than capable of producing a similar performance.

“For me, age is no difference so if you’re 18 or 30 if you’re a good footballer you should be playing,” he said. “I like to play football and I think Darren’s put all the tools in place and the players have got potential.

“I played football to enjoy it and the money factor was a second thing for me, so I try and convey that to the players that it’s the greatest hobby in the world so if you get paid for it, enjoy it even more.”
