Looking to peg back Town after the restart Graham Carey struck the post from a free-kick on 48 minutes, before the customary substitutions began to flow.
On at the break, Fisher got in on the scoring act when he was perfectly placed to tap in an inch-perfect cross from Trialist C to register his first goal of pre-season.
With a commanding lead the hosts were relentless in putting Argyle to the sword and added a fifth on the hour-mark.
Neat build-up led to Fisher finding himself one-on-one, demonstrating good composure to round substitute keeper Harry Burgoyne and complete the goal scoring rout.
Ending the match with four trialists on the pitch as well as 17-year-old Rogers and Spencer-Clarke from the Academy, Way’s side signed off at Huish Park in style as pre-season heads on the road.
