Sitting in fifth place, the Magpies represent the eighth consecutive team to face the Glovers whilst sitting in the top echelons of Sky Bet League Two.
The Green & Whites so far boast two wins, two draws and three defeats from their tough run-in before heading to Meadow Lane.
Looking to get back to winning ways, Way is relishing the trip to Nottingham.
Speaking to iFollow Glovers, he said: “It’s a great occasion like our trip to Coventry – at one stage they had 17 or 18 thousand to watch so they need to get promoted.
“They’re going for a real push and have got experienced players in. The manager has done a fantastic job to turn around a club that was perhaps upside down when he took over.
“We have to make sure we stick to our principles because we’re very strong. We’re off the back of a disappointing result but our away form up until Tuesday has been very good.”
Targeting a first win at Notts County in four years, the Glovers will be boosted by the potential return of defender Nathan Smith.
Absent since February, the 31-year-old is inline to make a return to the matchday squad, the Town boss confirmed.
“I’ve got decisions to make within the squad,” he said. “It’s nice to have Nathan back on the training ground. We gave him that extra week to make sure he didn’t break down and I’ll have to make that decision by the weekend.”
