During half-time in the match with Swindon, popular local singer Flic Keirle and her dance team entertained the Glovers faithful and visiting fans with a medley of songs.
Commenting, YTFC Supporter Director and Business Development Manager David Mills said: “Flic and her dancers were excellent and the feedback has been very good indeed.
“We owe a big vote of thanks to Flic and her team, plus our partners in this project the Western Gazette and Octagon Theatre.
“We are looking to do repeat this formula during half-time at games with a 3pm kick-off for the rest of the season and I understand an act is already lined up for our game with Exeter on 23 December.”
Acts and persons interested in this opportunity at future games should contact the Octagon via octagontheatre@SouthSomerset.Gov.uk
Acts taking part need to keep in mind the five-minute time limit that applies, the exterior location and that possible restrictions may apply to protect the pitch from damage.
One radio microphone linked into the stadium PA system is available for use and advanced rehearsal slots in days ahead of the games are possible. All activity is subject to clearance by the YTFC Groundsman.
