With the new deal taking Thatchers sponsorship into a new decade (2020), the fourth generation Somerset cidermaker will continue to have their name on the back of the home and away shirts along with the naming rights of The Thatchers Gold Stand, the home of the Yeovil Town terrace supporters.
Commercial Manager Dave Linney said: “This shows tremendous loyalty and we are really pleased to be cementing our partnership with Thatchers who have been making Somerset cider at Myrtle Farm for well over 100 years.
“Commercial partnerships are the lifeblood of any sporting organisation and this is another great chapter in the history of Yeovil Town Football Cub. We are honoured to be associated with such an established brand and consequently feel that this is a strong progressive partnership between two famous businesses that are located in the fantastic county Somerset.”
Martin Thatcher, Managing Director and fourth generation cidermaker, adds: “We share many values with Yeovil Town, not least a strong sense of community and family. We look forward to sharing many more memorable moments at Huish Park and wish everyone the very best of luck for the remainder of the season.”
