In Neale Marmon’s press briefing on Wednesday, Town’s Interim Manager confirmed the Middlesbrough loanee has returned to training after suffering a recurrence of a back injury.
Likely to play a part at Huish Park this weekend, Marmon also issued an update on the fitness of Omar Sowunmi (ankle) and Sessi D’Almeida (groin) who limped out of the 1-1 draw at Swindon.
“Omar is struggling, but I think Sessi will be training on Friday and he’ll be ready to go on Saturday,” he told iFollow Glovers.
“We’ve got 18 players to fill the spaces anyway but I’m trying to get a bit of continuity into the side and give the players the feeling that they’re going to be playing almost every week.
“Obviously, with people like Patto (Alex Pattison) coming back, and Sessi coming back from injury this week, they’ve got to now be looked at but I have a team in my head.”
Rhys Browne (hamstring) proves to be the only other injury for the green and whites, with the winger not yet ready for a return to action.
