The Glovers face the promotion-chasing Pilgrims at the end of a month which will have seen them play five of the top seven teams in Sky Bet League Two.
Town have become one of two sides in the last 10 games to take points off Exeter and one of three teams in 12 matches to do the same to Wycombe, but are desperate for all three points against Derek Adams’ side.
Speaking to YTFC.net, Darren Way called on his side’s unity to pull them through.
“Our whole team ethic is based on togetherness and that’s been the case since we first got together in pre-season with all the work we did at the Vale.
“At this stage of the season, we need that unity and teamwork to be successful, but you have to question what success is for Yeovil Town at the moment.
“We’re still in the quarter-finals of the Checkatrade Trophy and have played some good teams and been that close.
“The group want to go on a winning run and every game gives an opportunity to do that.”
Plymouth arrive at Huish Park unbeaten in their last two league matches and fresh from their FA Cup Third Round replay with Premier League giants Liverpool.
With a large traveling contingent expected, Way is looking forward to standing on the touchline.
He said: “It’s another great occasion with a relatively local derby which will include a large traveling contingent.
“It will be a good environment to play in. We have a young squad but every game they play in is another one to add to their CV and one they can grow stronger from.”
Having suffered just a second home defeat since October last weekend, Way understands frustrations around Huish Park but feels victory would change the mood entirely.
“Teams up and down the country have wobbles,” he said. “But is this a wobble with the run of games we’ve had? Not if we get three points soon.
“A victory gives you so much confidence and changes the environment completely.
“I’m prepared to come in every day and drive this dressing room and do everything I can to make this Football Club successful.”
