Sky Bet, title sponsor of the Football League, have today launched a week-long charity auction containing nearly 700 items of Football League Clubs signed shirts and balls in aid of charity Reverse Rett.
With another thrilling Football League season over, Sky Bet are offering all footballs fans the chance to take home a piece of club memorabilia from the 2014/15 season, while supporting an amazing cause in the fight against Rett Syndrome.
Rett Syndrome is a neurological disorder that strikes children around the time of their first birthday affecting nearly every aspect of their lives; taking away their ability to walk, talk and use their hands.
With items from each of the 72 clubs in the Football League available, we are calling on Town fans to play their part in support of Reverse Rett and pick themselves up some of our priceless club memorabilia in the process.
Sky Bet will be donating proceeds from the auction to Registered Charity Reverse Rett, who are the leading fundraising charity for Rett Syndrome in the UK. Founded in 2007, funds raised go directly to research to help beat the syndrome, which impacts thousands of people in the UK alone.
Commercial Manager Dave Linney said: “This is a fantastic cause and it’s great that we can play our part in helping. Now it’s our chance to show what the football family can do – I’m urging all Town fans to go online and bid for a shirt or ball, let’s make sure it’s our shirts that make the most money for the charity”.
The auction goes live on June 3rd at 12.00pm and will run for 7 days so make sure you don’t miss out and visit the site where you can view all the items on offer here http://stores.ebay.co.uk/skybetcharityauctions/
