SIGNING | Yeovil reel in Fisher for second spell

Yeovil Town are delighted to announce the signing of forward Alex Fisher on a two-year deal.

Fisher, who is already a familiar face at Huish Park, spent 18 months as a Glover, where he scored 14 goals in all competitions.

Since departing in 2019, the 32-year old spent two seasons at Exeter City before joining Newport County at the start of last season.

The towering forward arrives with an abundance of experience, having played across Europe in Spain, Italy, Belgium & Scotland, alongside 115 apps in the Football League.

Commenting first team manager Chris Hargreaves said; “Alex has chosen to play for Yeovil Town over several League and National League clubs, which shows a great desire and attitude.

“Alex adds aerial ability and physicality in the final third, and wants to score goals for this club.

“He has a wealth of experience in the Football League and has the right character to help the younger boys in the squad.”

We’ll have a full interview with Alex available later this week.

Welcome back to the Club, Alex.
