Yeovil Town are delighted to announce the signing of defender Owen Bevan from AFC Bournemouth until the end of the season.
The Cherries youth team captain arrives just a week after making his Premier League debut as a substitute against Liverpool.
This was his second senior appearance for AFC Bournemouth, with the first coming just days prior against Norwich in the Carabao Cup.
Arriving with international experience, the 18-year-old has played for Wales at U16, U17 & U19 level.
Having joined the Cherries as a 9-year-old, he advanced through the youth system and signed his first professional deal in March 2021 and was later extended in May 2022.
The youngster now arrives in Somerset looking for more minutes in a first team environment.
Commenting on our new addition, Chris Hargreaves said; “With Alfie Pond departing, we needed another defender in the building, and I’m pleased to welcome Owen to the football club.
“Owen is an extremely promising young footballer who is highly thought of by all at Bournemouth.
“We believe he can make a real impact on the pitch during his time here, I look forward to working with him.”
Welcome to Huish Park, Owen.
