We are delighted to announce defender Jay Foulston has joined Yeovil Town on loan until the end of the season from Taunton Town.

The 23-year-old defender joined the Peacocks in 2020 following his release from Newport County.

Foulston was a product of the Newport County academy and managed to record 4 appearances for the Welsh side, including his senior debut in a 2-0 win against Southend United at the age of 16 years old.

During his time with Newport County, Jay was also called up to the Wales Under-19s squad where he made 11 caps, scoring one goal against Hungary in an International Friendly.

After making his move to Somerset, Jay was part of the Taunton Town side that secured promotion to the National League South for the first time in their history. Jay scored two crucial goals in the final two games to ensure the Peacocks rose up to the highest level they have ever played at.
