Yeovil Town are delighted to announce the signing of Callum Rowe on a short-term deal following his release from Exeter City.
Comfortable in both midfield and defence, the 22-year-old signs after spending time training with the Glovers.
A graduate of the Aston Villa academy, Rowe starred for the Villans in the FA Cup against Liverpool. He provided an assist in the fixture, setting up Louis Barry for an unexpected equaliser.
Following his departure from Villa Park, Rowe ventured to the South-West to join Exeter City. He made 8 League Two appearances for the Grecians in their promotion season, also enjoying short term loan spells with Chippenham Town & Bath City along the way.
Manager Chris Hargreaves said; “Callum comes from a very strong footballing background. His time with Aston Villa has stood him in really good stead, both as a player and a person.
“We’ve been having a look at him in training in recent sessions, and during that time he has impressed all of the coaching staff.
“He’s got experience in the men’s game under his belt and compliments our changing room excellently.”
Welcome to Somerset, Callum.
