Yeovil Town Football Club recently announced plans to release a special limited edition book commemorating the club’s first ten years in the Football League.
The book, written by freelance writer Martin McConachie and produced by YTFC official programme designers Hops Design,  will be published later in the year and will focus on the successful decade of the Glovers since they arrived in the League back in 2003.
Featuring highlights  including the League Two title, big cup matches and the playoff season of 2006/07, the book will also bring a unique and fascinating insight into life at Huish Park as the club established themselves as a Football League club.
Manager Gary Johnson will be signing each copy and following the club’s recent extraordinary run of form that has seen them win eight successive League One matches, the club’s supporters have been really keen to get in on the exciting new venture.
With a special print run of just 500 books, the club have already pre-sold more than a hundred copies fully eight months before the book is published. And with fans voting week-by-week on their best ever YTFC team of the decade, the club have received more than 300 votes in just two weeks as fans rush to choose between Weale and Stech, Alcock and Peltier or Jones and Smith.
Now, supporters are being urged to reserve their copy of the book now to avoid missing out; they can pre-book by emailing book@ytfc.net and don’t forget that everyone who votes in the “Team of the Decade” polls will be entered into a free prize draw to win a signed copy of the book.
Only one vote per person per position is allowed but fans can vote on each category in turn, giving themselves a better chance of winning the draw.
