10th September 2020

Yeovil Town are delighted to confirm that season tickets for the 2020/21 season are now available for renewal to existing season ticket holders.

The club would like to thank the supporters for their patience and eagerness to help the club throughout what is a difficult time for us all, whether that be the Crowdfunder campaign or a virtual pint, thank you.

There are a variety of ways in which you can renew your season ticket for the upcoming National League season.

How to buy

Existing season ticket holders can renew their tickets from Friday 11th September in one of the following ways

Download and return the form – print and complete the renewal form including details of other season ticket holders you are able to group together with under the current government advice on social and family bubbles. To help us reduce social contact between supporters we ask the where possible you please return the completed form by post or put the completed form through the letterbox by reception doors at the club for us to process.

By phone. Please call on 01935 847 888 to renew over the phone. Please be aware we are currently operating on a reduced office staff at Huish Park and as such phone lines may initially be busy, so we ask for your patience when calling. If you have any queries then if possible it would assist us if you could email ticketoffice@ytfc.net rather than call.

In person – if coming to Huish Park to renew your season ticket we ask that you follow the social distancing measures in place while queuing. It would assist us if where possible you could complete the renewal form with information of others you can attend with. If there are large queues to help keep social distancing it would assist us if you could just deposit the completed form through the letterbox by reception doors.

ONLINE– unfortunately due to technical difficulties with how we are setting the season up, it won’t be possible to renew you season ticket online. We ask that where possible you complete and return the renewal form or use the above methods to renew.

Ticket office

The ticket office opening hours are as follows:

FAQs

Can I have my seat?

We will renew your season ticket on the same details as last season however once the renewal phase of sales is over, we will then have to arrange season tickets in the stadium in accordance with social distancing guidance and based on the groupings of supporters in social/family bubbles. For the vast majority of supporters this will unfortunately mean moving their existing ticket details to some degree. Will try to keep any movement as close to your original position and will give priority to supporters with disabilities or additional access requirements.  The original details of your season ticket will be kept on record and as soon as capacities in the ground return to normal we will strive to get season ticket holders back to their original place. We understand the attachment many supporters have to specific seats in the ground, but it will be necessary to ask all supporters for their co-operation in this matter to help us allow as many supporters to return to Huish Park as we can.

How can I add people to my bubble?

On the season ticket renewal form, you can add the names of any existing season ticket supporters you would like to be in a bubble with.

What Priorities Apply to Season Ticket Sales?

Sales will initially be restricted to renewals of existing season tickets, only for the first two weeks of sales.

After the second week we will then pause sales whilst we contact supporters about any required amendments to seat positions.

Once the number of renewals has been determined and we have established how all existing season ticket holders can be grouped we will then be able to determine the capacity available for general sale by the third week of sales and will open to new season ticket purchases if there is available capacity under the Local authorities current guidance.

Supporters should note that all sales are subject to the latest government COVID-19 guidance and that we may be required to change arrangements in line with any new guidance if issued.

How much are season tickets this year?

Early bird:

This year, for seated season ticket holders the early bird season ticket value works out at £13 a game (A saving of SEVEN free games).

Supporters who like to keep Huish park rocking in the Thatchers Gold Stand can enjoy the early bird price of just £10 a match (the value of EIGHT free games).

And finally, a message to Yeovil Town supporters from Chairman Scott Priestnall

The club once again would like to thank all season tickets holders for their continued support, especially as almost all supporters so far have donated the remaining games from last season. Your help along with the amazing success of the crowdfunder and financial support from our chairman means the club has been able to come through the extremely difficult lockdown period and is ready for the new season. You really have shown a togetherness and community spirit matched by no other. When times allow, we will be thanking everyone who has been involved with events with the directors, management and players.

Scott Priestnall said of your continued commitment to the club:

“I have been extremely proud to be your chairman over this last year and non-more-so than how our amazing supporters and community have come together in difficult times. It’s been a strain on everyone across the whole country and the club really wouldn’t be in the position it is now without your help.

“I like to think that I’ve listened to supporters over the last year, acted in the right way and made decisions for the benefit of the club. Making you as supporters the centre of this club and the club itself centre of this community is so important to me. I thank you all personally for all your financial help and support and I look forward to seeing you all soon at an actual football game! Continue to be safe and I hope you and families are well.”

Scott would also like the club to confirm how your season tickets, ticket bundles, general tickets donated and crowdfunder monies have been spent so far:

Costs to become COVID compliant, not including testing – £11,500

Pitch renovation cost – £7,600

Payments to staff including staff not on furlough – £26,000

Payments for utilities and running costs incurred as a result of the early end to the season and lack of operations during the lockdown period – £12,000

Payments to the club’s creditors since the season ended prematurely – £68,000

Once again, many thanks to those who donated to the crowdfunder and did not request ticket refunds whilst we had no trading income, which made paying these costs possible.

Should you have any queries regarding last season’s tickets please contact the ticket office via email
