Town have already defeated the young Royals this season, running out 2-0 winners in the group stage of the competition.
Reading’s development side have several players who have made first team appearances for the club and Way is expecting a difficult encounter.
“Reading are going to be tough,” he told YTFC’s official YouTube channel.
“They’re a possession based team and there won’t be much difference in their pattern to the way their first team played against Manchester United in the FA Cup so we know it’s going to be difficult.
“It will be interesting to see if they involve some of the players who are with the first team every week.
“We played against (Dominic) Samuel last time, and (Liam) Kelly who has been involved in the first team so we know they have a successful academy and Under-23s where there are players who are that good they integrate them with the first team.
“However, whoever we play, we have our pattern, we have our system that we work to and we have worked on the tactics of the opposition.”
Junior tickets are available at just £1 for tonight’s match, with adult tickets priced at £10.
