Town will be hoping to end a five-match winless run when Reading visit Huish Park.

Darren Way’s side slipped to 16th in the league following the latest results in Sky Bet League Two, and tonight’s Checkatrade Trophy could prove a welcome distraction.

The Glovers’ last win came in the competition as they put four past League One outfit MK Dons.

Yeovil have already faced Reading this season, winning 2-0 in the group stage back in November.

The young Royals progressed to round three after defeating Southampton on penalties.

Head-to-head

Yeovil have already faced Reading Under-23s this season, running out 2-0 winners in the group stage of the competition at the Madejski Stadium.

Tom Eaves smashed in the opener before Francois Zoko rounded off the scoring in the 89th minute.

Referee

John Brooks (Leicestershire) will take charge of his 24th game of the season this evening.

The Leicestershire-born referee handed out eight yellow cards and a red in Town’s 1-0 loss to Mansfield Town back in August, and has dished out a total of 106 yellows and seven reds this campaign.

Mr. Brooks will be assisted by Andrew Quin (Devon) and Simon Knapp (Bristol) with Brendan Malone (Wiltshire) acting as fourth official.
