Yeovil Town’s FA Trophy journey begins on Saturday (3pm) against Dorking Wanderers.

After a Fourth Round exit last season, the Glovers will be hungry to write their wrongs, starting against the fellow National League outfit.

Mark Cooper’s thoughts

Speaking ahead of the game, the boss hinted at a potential new addition to the squad; “Hopefully we can have a real quality addition in the building by Saturday, which will really make the fans want to come to the game.

Team news

After being ravaged by injury and illness last weekend, Cooper will be hopeful that many of his squad will be back involved.

Matt Worthington had to wait an extra week for his suspension to be served, but he’ll be available against Dorking on Saturday.

A foot in the opposition camp

Dorking have become one of non-league’s most talked about teams due to their unique set up. Managed by chairman Marc White, he has led the Surrey outfit to multiple promotions and into the National League.

Amongst the Dorking squad is a familiar face in Ryan Seager. The former Glovers forward joined in the Summer after a prolific spell with Hungerford Town.

Have we met before?

This is just the second ever meeting between the two sides following Dorking’s rapid ascent up the football pyramid.

Earlier this season, the two sides met in the National League as Sam Pearson netted in a 1-1 draw at Dorking’s Meadowbank stadium.
