Hyde signed for Yeovil Town in the Summer of 2023 as part of Mark Cooper's rejuvenated squad following relegation to the National League South.

His prowess in front of goal cannot be doubted, as he netted against Yeovil at Huish Park in Southend’s 2-0 victory in April 2023. The forward was already familiar with Rhys Murphy, who he played alongside for the Shrimpers.

A consistent goalscorer throughout his career, the forward had scored 113 goals across spells in the Football League, National League and the Scottish First Division before he joined Yeovil.
