Boasting a National League promotion and over 150 appearances at the level, the 25-year-old midfielder now signed in Somerset until at least 2024.

His promotion from the National League came with Forest Green Rovers during the 2016/17 season, in which the Gloucestershire outfit were promoted via the play-off final following a 3-1 win against Tranmere Rovers. Cooper played in 28 games that season, including a start in the play-off final.

A Birmingham City academy graduate, he has played in the Football League for both Forest Green & Newport County. His time in the National League has been spent with York City, Boreham Wood, FC Halifax Town, Woking, Wealdstone alongside Oldham and Forest Green.
