David has strong ties to the club and its fanbase from his role as an Associate Director since 2013, Director/Trustee of Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust, and time as Chairman and President at Yeovil Town Ladies until 2016.
Appointed by, and reporting to the YTFC Board, David will take on the role with immediate effect.
Working closely with the newly formed Achieve by Unity Supporters Consortium (Supporters Alliance) and its Chairman Rich Rendell, Mr. Mills will act as a link between fans and the board, able to take on and oversee questions and queries put forward by supporters.
Speaking on his appointment, David said: “I’m really looking forward to it. The link between the fans and the club is vital for the future of the club and I’m keen to work my hardest for everyone concerned.
“I keep an eye on social media so know what the fans think and I’m very keen on fan engagement.
“When I was at Yeovil Town Ladies I introduced the first version of the fans ‘Bill of Rights’ which has been developed so I’m very keen to try and make things better where I can.”
