.rd. November from Championship club Watford until January 3ndYeovil Town signed Dale Bennett on loan on 22
22 year old Bennett cut his teeth in the Watford Academy side but has made 25 appearances in the Watford first team.
Listed as a defender, the versatile Bennett can drop into central defence or right back and went straight into Gary Johnson’s squad for the match against Carlisle.
Talking of his new signing Johnson said: "He’s not a young young lad. He’s 22 years old, which is good as we’ve got a lot of young lads. He’s a bit of a talker as well.
“He can play centre-back or any full-back position, and probably centre-midfield if you wanted a bit of a destroyer in there. He’s a bit like a rash, in that he’s all over you in the way that he plays. He’s very strong and very quick
"Dale knows that he won’t come straight into the team. He knows that he’s got to get a little bit of good training under him and some sharpness.
."
“If you look at it, Paddy Madden misses the next two games anyway, Gozie (Ugwu) has got a hamstring problem thay may or may not come back, Joe (Edwards) and Korey (Smith) will miss the Portsmouth and Bournemouth games, so we knew that although we have got the six loans, it wouldn’t make a lot of difference."
