Standing at just 5’6”, the 22-year-old was released by Fulham as a youngster for being too small, before a stint in non-league attracted the attention of the Cherries.
Having enjoyed a loan spell at Newport County last season, Green is ready to prove the doubters from the past wrong in the green and white of Yeovil Town.
“I was told that (I’m too small) before, but it’s about keeping on pushing, knowing what you can do and believing in yourself,” he told iFollow Glovers.
“The manager has told me to go and show what I can do. He knows I’ve got talent but it’s about developing and pushing on.
“Playing is all I’ve been thinking about, I want to get my first game and then get going from there.”
Brought in to train with the Glovers prior to the start of the 2017/18 season, the Londoner is ready to hit the ground running have already embedded into the Town squad.
“It’s been good,” he said. “Everyone is so welcoming, it’s a nice club to be at and I just want to get out on the pitch now.
“It’s very important that I know League Two. (The Newport loan) was a very good experience for me and now knowing what the league is like, I just want to get going and show what I can do.
“I’ve set a few targets, but they’re going to remain secret targets!”
