Able to spend the day with the first team, Darren Sarll and his squad of players will be free to meet and sign autographs before the Glovers take on Stratford Town in a pre-season friendly at 3pm.
Ahead of the event, Town’s boss said: “I’m really keen to have the chance for myself and all the players to meet and interact with the supporters because they’re very much part of what we’re trying to build.
“The fans will pay to see these players week in, week out so it’s great to have a chance early on to get to come together.”
Part of the consortium finalising a deal to takeover the club, Scott Priestnall will also be in attendance and available to speak to supporters about their pending tenure in charge.
Commenting on the planned open day, Priestnall said: “We’re bringing Stratford down next Saturday to have a day where the fans can meet the players and the new manager.
“We’ll be down there as well to try and give some openness as to what’s going off in this current transition period.”
Behind the scenes tours will also take place from 1230 with refreshments and other activities on offer which will be announced during the build-up.
A ticketed event, prices for the full day’s admission (including the match) are as follows:
Adult – £5
Concessions/Military/Young Person – £3
Under-16s – FREE
Supporters can purchase in advance by visiting or calling the ticket office (01935 847888), with tickets also available to buy online.
