Glovers fan Matt Chown completed the Football to Amsterdam cycle challenge in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

Matt described the ride as "an unforgettable experience" and recommends everyone to take part next year.

When reflecting on the ride Matt said: "The whole ride was superb. I have made some great friends and he organisation was second to none."

This years ride was led by three former England footballers in Luther Blissett, Terry Butcher and Viv Anderson, the riders joined the fight against prostate cancer with the aim to raise half a million pounds for Prostate Cancer UK, the Official Charity Partner of The Football League.

More than 50 Football League clubs were represented among the cyclists, all riding 145 miles over two days to support the leading men’s health charity against a disease that kills one man every hour.

The £500,000 raised will help ‘shift the science’ and crack the three core issues of diagnosis, treatment and prevention, which have been left unsolved for too long. It will also help provide support and information to those affected by the disease.
