Yeovil Town will be aiming for back-to-back wins as Darren Sarll’s side travel to Solihull Moors.

Last time out, the Glovers enjoyed a successful evening at Huish Park as goals from Charlie Wakefield and Tom Knowles sank Woking.

The hosts come into the game in great form, winning four of their last five games in the National League.

Darren Sarll’s thoughts

Speaking ahead of Saturday’s game, Sarll said; “It’s game against another one of the top seven or eight that are a resourceful club now, buying Andrew Dallas from Cambridge just highlights that point.

“We were close to a couple of Solihull players signing for our football club, but Solihull swooped in and got them from under our nose.

“In all due respect, we’re probably considered the bigger club, but we’re not in terms of resource. We’ve got no flexibility, we’ve got to go there and be what we are.”

Team news

In his press conference, Sarll confirmed Town would be boosted by the return of three injured players. Luke Wilkinson, who has sat out since picking up an injury against Chesterfield, is in line for a return to the substitutes bench alongside Alex Bradley who has endured a similarly long spell on the sidelines.

Watford loanee, who missed out on Tuesday’s victory with a minor knock is also in contention for Saturday’s game.

Morgan Williams, who just celebrated the birth of his first child, remains unavailable with an injury, whilst Reuben Reid and Mark Little are long-term absentees.

A foot in the opposition camp

Solihull Moors have enjoyed a successful start to the National League season, and currently sit in fifth place.

Under management, former Notts County & Wimbledon boss Neal Ardley took the reigns at Damson Park in the summer, and is looking to have another season fighting at the top of the National League after leading the Magpies to the play-off final in his final full season with the club.

Have we met before

Since relegation to the National League, Yeovil Town have endured mixed results at Damson Park.

In Sarll’s first season, Yeovil Town extended their early season winning run with a memorable victory in the midlands, which saw Luke Wilkinson score, and then go in goal after an injury to Liam O’Brien.

However, a second half collapse saw Yeovil fall to a 5-1 defeat in last season’s clash.
