Yeovil Town play for the second time in three days as FC Halifax Town visit Huish Park.

Following victory against Wealdstone on Saturday, Town will go into the Bank Holiday fixture full of confidence.

Play-off hopefuls Halifax will be hoping to bounce back from a disappointing defeat to Stockport, a game which former Glover Paddy Madden netted the only goal of the game.

Darren Sarll’s thoughts

Speaking after victory over Wealdstone, Sarll looked ahead to the Bank Holiday fixture: “We’ve got a real tough game in Halifax on Monday. They’re very tactical and strategic in how we play, we’ll need to be incredible again.

“We found today that one bad session can lead to two or three injuries, so we can look a little bit short.”

Team news

In his post-match press conference, Sarll said Monday’s game may come too soon for Rhys Murphy who picked up a knock against Solihull Moors last week.

Matt Worthington also sat out on Saturday afternoon due to a recent injury. However, Sarll did have some positive news about Lawson D’Ath who is expected to return to the first team line-up soon.

A foot in the opposition camp

Pete Wild’s Halifax have continued where they left off last season, sitting in a play-off position once again. The visitors boast former Glover Tom Bradbury amongst their ranks, but the man to look out for is Jake Hyde. The former Woking man has 10 National League goals in 22 games, an impressive return in a season disrupted by injuries.
