Yeovil Town have two first team squad members out on loan, and we look at how they got on this weekend.

Firstly, in League One, Sam Foley made his debut for Shrewsbury as they lost 3-2 against fellow strugglers Bristol City.

The Shrews new number 10 had signed on loan from the Glovers for a month and played his first 90 minutes within 48 hours of signing on the dotted line.

Bristol City had taken the lead twice but had seen their lead pegged back through Tamika Mkandawire and Paul Parry.

Joe Bryan scored a winner late on to keep the Shrews in the drop zone.

Foley will be hoping for more minutes, some goals and that vital match fitness that will benefit both Shrewsbury and then Yeovil when he returns.

Dropping down into the Skrill Premier Division and Joey Jones is currently into his second month with Woking.

The defender was a late substitute in their 2-0 win over Southport on Saturday.

Jones was making his first appearance in the squad after spending three matches out of the side following a red card against Dartford in late February.

Centre-back Jones, who is yet to make his first team debut for the Glovers, came on in the 78th minute to sure up the defence and see the game out.

The two Woking goals were both scored by former Yeovil Town player, Scott Rendell notched the first and Kieran Murtagh wrapped up the points shortly before the end.

It’s a quick turnaround for Woking who face top-of-the-table Luton live on BT Sport next Monday night.

Jones will be hoping to get back into the starting eleven and show his ability at keeping the best attackers in the division quiet.
