LOAN WATCH: LEA CAN’T BEAT THE DROP WITH BORO

The 19-year-old scored his second goal for the club in their 2-0 away win at Bishop’s Stortford on Good Friday, before playing just under an hour in the Easter Monday defeat to Oxford City at home.

The midfielder, who has become an important fixture in Boro’s side, completed 90 minutes on Saturday but suffered heartache as a last-minute Concord Rangers equaliser condemned the Hampshire outfit to relegation with one game remaining.
Lea will remain at the Aerial Direct Stadium for the final game of the season, with survival now impossible.
