The left-back has faced the Red Devils before as a Southampton player and has even come up against Real Madrid whilst at Plymouth Argyle.

The Emirates FA Cup fourth round tie in Somerset offers ex-Brentford man Dickson the chance to face some world class stars once more and it’s something he sees as good for the players, the community and the club.

“This week we’ve enjoyed the build-up,” he told iFollow Glovers. “We went to watch Bristol City v Manchester City on Tuesday to get a feel of what to expect.

“Everyone grows up wanting to play in the big games against the big players and It’s a dream come true for any footballer especially in the lower leagues. The stronger the team they play the better.

“Obviously there’s no hiding their talent and we’re not going have an easy night that’s for sure.”

He continued: “It will be great. It’s massive for the football and club and massive for the community.

“Yeovil isn’t a big town and we’re a bit isolated here so it’s amazing and what the club deserves.

“However, everyone is human and once the whistle blows it’s just another game of football.

“Concentration levels have to be high because their brains operate quickly but over 90 minutes anything can happen.”
