The U’s currently sit one point outside the top seven going into the season finale against the Glovers at the Weston Homes Community Stadium.
Yeovil may have secured their EFL status with a point against Stevenage but Lacey insists the squad have prepared for Saturday’s match like any other.
He told YTFC’s official YouTube channel: “It was obviously the most important thing for us at the time. We’re very happy to get that (safety) and still have a game left.
“Now we’ve stayed up there’s less pressure but we’re going there for the win so our preparation hasn’t changed.
“Much like Stevenage, they’re still going for the play-offs so we know it’s going to be a tough game because they’ve got a lot to play for. It’s up to us to finish the season on a high.
“It’s the last game before the summer but they’re going to have the play-offs on their mind.
“We want to go out on a high so it’s up to us to upset their day.”
Tickets for the match are available on the day in Essex.
