Yeovil Town are delighted to announce that Kevin Dawson has agreed a new contract with Yeovil Town.

The Irishman has penned a new two-year deal that will see him remain at Huish Park until the summer of 2017.

Dawson signed for the Glovers in January 2013 and later in the season helped secure a play off final place by scoring the opening goal in the memorable semi-final win over Sheffield United.

Due to injury during last season, the popular midfielder found himself restricted to just 21 appearances, with his last appearance coming against Manchester United in the FA Cup 3rd round.

On signing the new deal Kevin said: "I am absolutely delighted to have signed a new deal at Yeovil.

“I cannot wait for the season to start. It has been a horrendous time with injuries for me but hopefully they are all behind me now.

“I had a operation a couple of weeks ago and that went well, so I hope to be back fully fit for the start of the season.”
