Yeovil Town’s Jolly Green Giant will be appearing at this Sunday’s Children’s Day at Wincanton Race Course.
Children’s Day is a firm favourite with the local Somerset families with a wide range of free children’s entertainment on offer as well as a competitive afternoon of racing.
This year we will see the return of the Shetland Pony Rides, the ever popular sporting mascots set to line up in an Egg and Spoon race down the home straight during racing, and a Mascots Tug of War contest in the Parade Ring kindly coordinated by The Children’s Trust and F1 simulator.
There are also be complimentary goody bags for the first 250 children on-course containing an array of goodies sponsored by Bathwick Tyres, BV Dairy, Clarks Village and Yeovil Town Football Club and to top it off Cheltenham Festival winners Dodging Bullets, Cue Card and Big Bucks parading plus lots more.
