IT WAS A GOOD SECOND HALF PERFORMANCE – WAY

The Glovers trailed to Padraig Amond’s header midway through the second half, before Matty Dolan scored against his hometown club just five minutes later.
Pools were put on the defensive after Town equalised and Way felt his side could’ve taken all three points.
Speaking to YTFC’s official YouTube channel, he said: “It was a good performance as far as the second half.
“We talked about preparation before the game having played Tuesday and they have a new manager without playing on Tuesday.
“It’s a very hard place to come mentally and physically, but the players kept going from start to finish.
“I Felt towards the end we looked fitter than them, which is a good sign.”
Yeovil are now unbeaten in their last three away matches, earning a share of the spoils at Wycombe, Blackpool and Hartlepool.
With two more league away games this month, Way feels their form on the road is a positive.
“I’m really pleased,” he said. “When you look at the other results, even though we didn’t pick up three points, I thought we were the better team and deserved three points, especially in the second half.
“Unfortunately, it didn’t happen but if we pick up these points away and pick up three points at home, we could be in a better place.”
Way’s side now face a trip to Luton Town in the Checkatrade Trophy quarter-finals on Tuesday, before hosting Leyton Orient back in League Two on Saturday.
