The Club decided to make the improvements following comments made in the recent matchday experience survey.
Over a thousand comments were made by supporters in the survey at the end of last year and following this, Commercial Manager Dave Linney contacted Helliar & Son, who began work to clean the Tamburino Stand before Christmas. They have now returned to clean the remaining three sides, with the stadium looking much cleaner and brighter as 2017 begins.
Upon completion of the work, Dave Linney said: "Our grateful thanks to Gary and his team for their expertise and efforts in freshening up the exterior of Huish Park. Teaming up with a local and long established company like Helliar & Son brings together the club’s motto of Achieve By Unity."
Garry Helliar, Managing Director of Helliar & Son, said: "We were delighted to be able to help our local team, and hope that supporters agree that the stadium looks far better."
Helliar & Son provides professional cleaning services for homes and businesses; preventative and responsive pest control through Helliar Pest Control; and the supply of cleaning equipment through Helliar Cleaning Equipment. Based in Yeovil, it has over 80 years’ experience in the sector and serves customers across the South West.
After publishing the results of the recent survey online, the Club will build on the work carried out by Helliar & Son by releasing a list of planned alterations and improvements for 2017 as a result of supporter feedback.
