May Contain Nuts (& Bolts) and his two friends will arrive at Huish Park at midday and will be located at three different spots around the club ground, mirroring the Bristol Gromit Trail over the summer.
80 Gromit Unleashed sculptures were hand painted by famous artists, designers and celebrities from all over the world including Pixar, Cath Kidston, Sir Quentin Blake and Richard Starzak, the creator of Aardman’s hugely popular series ‘Shaun the Sheep’. The Gromits then spent 10 weeks on a public art trail around Bristol! The Gromit Unleashed Charity Art Exhibition raised over £2.3 million for Wallace and Gromit’s Grand Appeal to support sick children and their families at Bristol Children’s Hospital.
May Contain Nuts is made from over 24,900 individually glued hex nuts, designed by mosaic artist Natalie Guy.
Lauren Kennedy, Silverline Brand Manager, said “We instantly fell in love with May Contain Nuts (& Bolts) Gromit and knew we had to have him. We’re so happy that YTFC fans will be able to enjoy meeting Gromit in his new home town”
Players from YTFC visited Silverline HQ to meet Nuts when he was unveiled in October. Gary Johnson, YTFC Manager said “It’s great to have a Gromit in Yeovil.”
May Contain Nuts and his friends will be at YTFC from midday until KO at 3pm.
