This afternoon (Tuesday) a Yeovil Town XI defeated a AFC Bournemouth XI 5-0 in a behind closed doors friendly.
Defender Joey Jones opened the scoring for the Glovers when he powerfully headed home a Sam Foley corner after 15 minutes.
On 20 minutes Kieffer Moore curled the ball around Shwan Jalal in the Cherries goal after a jinking run by Michael Ngoo.
Just after the half-time break Sam Hoskins’ cross from the left wing evaded everyone and nestled in the far corner to make it 3-0.
Ngoo got himself on the scoresheet when he was quickest to react after Jahal had saved his penalty.
With five minutes remaining Dawson’s surging run saw his shot blocked on the line only for the ball to deflect off Jahal and into the net.
