12th March 2018

Heading across the border to Devon, the Green & Whites will be hoping to continue their recent good form against the Grecians.

Having already met twice this season, Darren Way’s side have two wins to their name. Travelling to St James Park in August to record a 3-1 win in the Checkatrade Trophy, Yeovil repeated the scoreline just before Christmas in the league meeting at Huish Park.

Now four matches unbeaten against City, the Glovers will target a continuation of that run to get back to winning ways in League Two following three straight defeats.

With no fresh injury concerns Town’s boss could welcome back Alefe Santos into the fold after the Brazilian missed the weekend’s meeting with Newport due to illness.

However, Oscar Gobern, Artur Krysiak, Dan Alfei, Nathan Smith, James Bailey and Jake Gray will all be unavailable due to injury.

Those who make the matchday 18 will be up against an Exeter outfit unbeaten in their last three.

Fresh from a 1-1 draw with Carlisle on Saturday, Jayden Stockley (17 goals) will provide the most likely threat with Pierce Sweeney backing up the striker with six goals in all competitions.

Head-to-head
After 15 previous encounters, there’s nothing to separate the two sides with five draws, five wins and five defeats each.

The Glovers are looking to extend their unbeaten run against the Grecians to five matches, with Jake Gray, Francois Zoko and Sam Surridge netting to record a memorable 3-1 win back in December.

Town’s last league win at St James Park came in March 2011, with Sam Williams and Dean Bowditch (x2) securing a 3-2 victory.

Officials
Keith Stroud (Hampshire) will be the man in the middle in Devon.

It will be his first match involving the Glovers this season, having last taken charge of a Yeovil match during the 2015/16 campaign, overseeing a 3-2 Oxford United win in the Checkatrade Trophy.

On Tuesday night, Mr Stroud will be assisted by Mark Pottage (Dorset) and Daniel Leach (Oxfordshire) with Brett Huxtable (Devon) acting as fourth official.
