26th October 2018

After back-to-back home fixtures the green and whites are back on the road with a bang, facing a 660-mile round trip to Cumbria.

Draws with Tranmere and Crewe preceded the visit to Brunton Park, with Alex Fisher grabbing a sixth goal of the season on Tuesday night in the 1-1 draw with the Railwaymen.

With the chance to leapfrog Saturday’s opponents with a win, Darren Way’s side will look to rediscover their early season form away from home.

Emphatic victories at Notts County and Newport County stand out with ten goals scored and none conceded, coupled with a 1-0 victory at Grimsby.

Still only suffering four defeats all season, Town will look to get back to winning ways without the services of six players.

Gary Warren and Jordan Green await the result of scans and will join James Bailey, Francois Zoko, Diallang Jaiyesimi and Omar Sowunmi on the sidelines.

Offering a boost to a depleted looking squad, Wes McDonald returned to the bench in midweek after two months out with injury and will be amongst the 18-man team to take on a Carlisle side looking for a first league win in four.

The Cumbrians drew with league leaders Lincoln City last time out, however, so will be in buoyant mood at Brunton Park.

Yeovil will be looking to improve their tally of seven victories from 24 encounters against United on Saturday.

After winning five of the opening 10 fixtures between the two sides the green and whites are without a win since 2011.

Jon Obika and Dean Bowditch netted to record a 2-0 victory at Brunton Park, a result which Town will look to replicate.

The man in the middle on Saturday will be Thomas Bramall.

It’ll be his second game of the season involving the Glovers, having overseen the 1-0 win at Grimsby last month.

He’ll be assisted by Helen Byrne and Barry Cropp with Graeme Fyvie acting as fourth official.
