Formed in 1901 as St. Sidwell’s United, the club was renamed three years later as Exeter City.

Under the management of former Yeovil player and long-serving manager Paul Tisdale, Exeter achieved a notable tenth place finish last season.

Although they are expected to struggle this campaign, the Grecians have made some astute signings including former Peterborough United goalkeeper Bobby Olejnik and ex. Brentford midfielder Manny Oyeleke.

They play their home games at St James Park, which boasts a capacity of around 8,500 spectators, and sport a red and white striped jersey.

Yeovil and Exeter have had many heated derbies over the years but they also share the memory of Adam Stansfield – a combative striker who played for both clubs before sadly passing away from cancer in August 2010.

Distance from Huish Park: 48 miles (around one hour, eight minutes).

2014-15 season final position: 10th in League Two.

Odds on to finish: Win outright 33/1, promotion 8/1, relegation 15/2 (all odds sought from SkyBet).

Super stat: The club have played at St James Park since its inauguration but did you know that they first played on grassland used for fattening pigs.
