With Yeovil having last graced League Two in the 2004-05 season, a decade on the Glovers are back in the fourth tier of English football.

However, as the saying goes a lot can happen in a week of football, let alone ten years, so for the next few weeks we will be going through club-by-club to see exactly who the Glovers will be up against as they push for an immediate return to the third tier.

Accrington Stanley

Formed in 1968 and managed by John Coleman, a prolific goalscorer in his non-league playing days, the Lancashire club entered the Football League as Conference Champions nine years ago.

Since then, Stanley have retained a steady mid-table position on the pitch, albeit for one play-off push in the 2010-11 season which ended in defeat to Stevenage.

However, off the pitch has been more testing with then Club Chairman Ilyas Khan rescuing Accrington from possible extinction in 2009. This is aptly described in their motto ‘The Club That Wouldn’t Die’.

The club became synonymous with a 1980’s milk advert that featured the slogan ‘Accrington Stanley, who are they?’

Their ground capacity is approximately 5000 with just under half being seated and they play in a red and white strip.
