Town boss Gary Johnson has won this year’s Football League Outstanding Managerial Achievement Award at The Football League Awards.
Johnson picked up the award at the ceremony at The Brewery, London, this evening in front of guests from other clubs, sponsors and the football industry.
Gary was put forward for the award for leading the Glovers to the Championship for the first time in the club’s history after beating Brentford in the League One Play Off Final.
Johnson fought off competition from Chesterfield’s Paul Cook and AFC Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe. Previous winners of the award are 2013: Phil Parkinson (Bradford City) 2012: Gus Poyet (Brighton & Hove Albion)
