Yeovil Manager Darren Sarll was left delighted that his side produced a convincing display on Boxing Day against Torquay.
Scoring six against a local rival, managed by former Glover Gary Johnson, was surely sweet for Sarll, but the Gaffer was most pleased with our performance.
Speaking to YTTV, the Boss said;
“We played with real aggression, a great energy and enthusiasm. We still have that even though we are organised and structurally sound.
“It’s testament to the coaching staff, that they don’t overcoach the players, because when you do that you lose that instinct and intuition that players have.
“I thought there was a lot of good instinctive play out there, and the competence of the individual performance was very high.”
