The nonet completed medicals at Huish Park on Friday and will join the club from July 3rd, subject to registration clearance.
Goalkeeper Tommy Scott is the oldest of the new recruits (17), with the rest of the young Glovers aged 16.
In Scott’s defensive line will be Thomas Hayes, who operates at centre-back, and left-back Daniel Ojo.
Lewis Dix, Alex John, Harry Haughton and Gabriel Rodgers all ply their trade in midfield – with the latter able to play in the number 10 role – while forwards Harry Edmondson and Neville Nzembela make up the rest of the crop.
Academy Manager Paul Wilson told YTFC.net: “It’s exciting to get the first intake of scholars this season.
