The Ivorian forward was selected in a four-man attack and netted from the spot late on to earn the Glovers a point.
It was the ex-Magpie’s first outing in over three weeks after serving a three-match suspension and he insists it was good to be back.
“It was frustrating (to be out),” Zoko told iFollow Glovers.
“I had to deal with it and manage myself well. My first half wasn’t as good as I wanted but when you’re out for a few weeks it happens. I prepared for that and my second half was better.
“I feel good but the more important thing is we got a point. I’m very happy and looking forward to Saturday.”
Zoko’s 80th-minute penalty was his sixth goal of the campaign and first since mid-September
The 34-year-old won the spot-kick and converted it, however made not have taken it if Otis Khan was still on the pitch.
“Who said Otis was the club penalty taker?” he joked.
“We have a lot of boys who can take a penalty which is a good thing. Sometimes when there’s more pressure perhaps I’ll take them because I’m older.
“It was a clear penalty but after you win it you have to score it! I’m very happy for the team as we put a lot of effort into the game, especially in the second half.
“We got a point against a top of the league team and we’ll take that into Saturday’s game.”
